The Med-Peds ID program is a 4-year joint program between HUP & CHOP. When they finish, our Med-Peds ID fellows are expertly trained to manage infections throughout life stages. Bonus - CHOP and HUP are all on the same campus (and CHOP has the best cafeteria!)

Fellows have several opportunities to pursue an advanced degree research training program, such as the Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE), one of the nation’s top offerings in clinical research training. MSCE grads are poised for academic research careers across a disciplines.

The Opioid Use Disorders & ID Fellowship Track is one of several tracks for fellows to complete advanced training. Fellows become experts in clinical management of people living infections due to opioid use disorder through a combination of unique clinical & educational opportunities.

The HIV & Viral Hepatitis Fellowship Track is one of several tracks for advanced training. The track is designed for fellows to become experts in the clinical management of people living with HIV & viral hepatitis through a wide range of faculty mentorship, clinical care, & research opportunities.

The Infection Prevention & Antimicrobial Stewardship Track prepares fellows for a career in healthcare epidemiology, including leading & collaborating with infection prevention & control, & antimicrobial stewardship teams. Learn more at our fellowship website.

The Transplant ID Fellowship Track is one of several tracks within which fellows can complete advanced clinical training. The track combines inpatient & outpatient training in the management of transplant candidates & recipients with infectious diseases issues. Learn more at our fellowship website.

Yesterday, we celebrated the graduation of 6 of our ID fellows: Drs. Kevin He, Zach Hostetler, Kevin Kohm, Charmaine Mutucumarana, Sergio Reyes, & Corey Watts.They are all incredible doctors, educators, and people! It was wonderful to take some time to celebrate their awesome achievements!
