Speed limit reductions are a key here, and Toronto has done the same in the core which is great...except every one still does 45 in 30 zones. There have been three pedestrians killed by drivers in the last week in Toronto.

It's already happening in India, so maybe a response with fewer swear words would be appropriate

100 people were shot in america today and no one is taking about them. Without diminishing this death (it’s hugely significant) it’s a drop in the buck of America’s problems.

Traffic in the zone is down 11% compared to pre-toll trends. It may not sound like a lot, but it’s meant really big time saving for some commuters, esp on bridges and tunnels. 51% faster on the Holland Tunnel in the am rush!
