Every American street food experience I've had since returning to the country has felt awful, & not bc of taste. A hot dog tray-sized offering here can easily be $14 minimum. Meanwhile I could pay ~$7 USD for a bowl of ramen too big to finish plus maybe a beer in Japan*

a part of my job involves using stock videos & even though stock actors are clearly acting fake situations, they have way more charm to them than the AI that was clearly trained on them. There's a humanizing nuance to them even if stock vid actors are often asked to do really *ridiculous* things.
