Unfortunate that J/K Trolling found a vulnerability in the system while on assistance, thought, "all I have to do is write stuff to sell tat." I'm not mad, I'm just upset that now every aspiring creator on public assistance in any country is now going to be measured, compared, and connected to her.

"Merchandising! Where the real money from the movie is made!"

Also, good, that we are able to find an alternative, and by Terry Pratchett, no less.

Pratchett's first Tiffany Aching book is pretty philosophical, though it's not as spiritual as something like _A Wrinkle in Time_, while Rowling is like "Every Flavor Beans! let's go BUY shit, Harry!"

I feel I should point out that I thought Rowling's work was terrible even back when she was everybody's darling. I did. and I didn't understand what everybody saw in it, other than that marketing is a hell of a drug

And that the feeling that I should never share the things I care about and like is a feeling of dread I cannot shake. People think #hyperindependence is like "I'm independent" from Herbie the Elf when in fact it's being bound in chains and unable to ask for something as simple as a sip of water.

And furthermore, I know that nothing I say or do will ever please anyone, even the people I claim to support, which is shocking to me because you should see the tryhard rightwingers welcoming outsiders in even though no one in their logical and empathic mind should ever join them.

W/e it's fine but just so you know, this isn't how people become better people. This is how people fall into deep depression and can't function so they start looking for a way out. Just so we are clear.

so you can't navigate its ridiculous rules and stupid games when no one says what they really mean and they go behind your back and do whatever they do and then lie to your face and then deny it.

As a gamer I don't want to play this game anymore

Everything, at some point pisses someone off, whether I'm nice all the time or not. It's not that I have social problems, (although that's part of it). It's that society is impossible to decipher--

o no, does this mean you need to buy a whole new steam setup?

The draw for me to the steam deck was its price, it's cheaper than owning a gaming PC.
