The LibDems got into KCC for Tunbridge Wells East with 89% of the ward electorate not voting for them. Low turnout & voter apathy is because of being constantly misled and lied to. "You are all the same". Misleading to get votes isn't winning them, it is stealing them. That isn't democracy.

Oh dear! Kent wasn't in Angela Rayner's list of councils being fast-tracked for devolution. Tunbridge Wells LibDems aren't now going to dodge the misleading promises in their election leaflets and strategic plan.

We need sleeper/overnight trains from London and Ashford. Just think, Milan, Barcelona, Nice. There was the ski train (Eurostar) to Bourg. Are Eurotunnel charges the main issue? @seatsixtyone.bsky.social

The Nightjets are a lot cheaper if booked well in advance. I deal for skiers going to Austria and Brents/Dolomiti. I've just come back from Trento during the day. Practically empty!

Pembury would have suffered badly, so loving the official response to the "better streets" #TunbridgeWells LibDem vanity project. They don't get that the great majority of people voted for them to give the Tories a bloody nose, not to implement LibDem policies.

Coming soon! I was in Milan when the original smoking ban was implemented. It worked because it was policed. Like here, nobody would go back. From 19th Jan it is extended to, effectively, everywhere in Milan.

I am the opposition Independent, holding #tunbridgewells LibDems to account. indy.tw Never mind the distraction of the LTN, where is my tree? Where is the Nature Reserve promised for near Paddock Wood? Where are the 6 youth hubs we were unequivocally promised in leaflets and letters?

GREAT NEWS!!!! The bonkers LibDem plan to have a Low Traffic Network for St.James' and St.Johns in #TunbridgeWells has been dropped following an onslaught of ridicule. Including from the residents of the areas. It would have forced all the traffic onto already gridlocked roads.

An engineer attended the Pembury Hospital junction yesterday. There have been some problems with sensors. Hopefully more cars can turn into the hospital now. The junction is going to be redesigned. Thanks to Paul Barrington-King for getting KCC on the case so quickly. #TunbridgeWells

A "better streets" in #TunbridgeWells idea would be to improve our town centre by pedestrianising Camden Rd. The appraisal work has mostly already been done. It is not a bus route. It is a pig to drive in with all the inconsiderate parking anyway.
