The LibDems got into KCC for Tunbridge Wells East with 89% of the ward electorate not voting for them. Low turnout & voter apathy is because of being constantly misled and lied to. "You are all the same". Misleading to get votes isn't winning them, it is stealing them. That isn't democracy.

Just to be clear: Genuine Independents aren’t here to block any party or enter tactical alliances. We're here to represent residents - not play party games.

Oh dear! Kent wasn't in Angela Rayner's list of councils being fast-tracked for devolution. Tunbridge Wells LibDems aren't now going to dodge the misleading promises in their election leaflets and strategic plan.

We need sleeper/overnight trains from London and Ashford. Just think, Milan, Barcelona, Nice. There was the ski train (Eurostar) to Bourg. Are Eurotunnel charges the main issue? @seatsixtyone.bsky.social

That's that then. It looks like KCC will get on the Devolution Priority Programme and become a mayoralty. I presume KCC cabinet have rubber stamped it this afternoon. That will be the end of TWBC as we know it, probably before 2028. #TunbridgeWells

Those trees have nothing to do with the Lib Dem election promises as the TWBC Strategic Plan has not been approved.
Those trees are part of the 2022 KCC Plan Tree strategy.
When asked about the trees in public meetings, the TW Lib Dems failed to provide honest answers. 🤷♂️

Pembury would have suffered badly, so loving the official response to the "better streets" #TunbridgeWells LibDem vanity project. They don't get that the great majority of people voted for them to give the Tories a bloody nose, not to implement LibDem policies.

Whilst rabidly checking the origins of products, so as not to fund wronguns, I didn't, as a Kent resident, think for a minute I needed to check apples. Got home and they are not even British, never mind Kentish. @tesco #TunbridgeWells

Coming soon! I was in Milan when the original smoking ban was implemented. It worked because it was policed. Like here, nobody would go back. From 19th Jan it is extended to, effectively, everywhere in Milan.

I am the opposition Independent, holding #tunbridgewells LibDems to account. indy.tw Never mind the distraction of the LTN, where is my tree? Where is the Nature Reserve promised for near Paddock Wood? Where are the 6 youth hubs we were unequivocally promised in leaflets and letters?

GREAT NEWS!!!! The bonkers LibDem plan to have a Low Traffic Network for St.James' and St.Johns in #TunbridgeWells has been dropped following an onslaught of ridicule. Including from the residents of the areas. It would have forced all the traffic onto already gridlocked roads.

An engineer attended the Pembury Hospital junction yesterday. There have been some problems with sensors. Hopefully more cars can turn into the hospital now. The junction is going to be redesigned. Thanks to Paul Barrington-King for getting KCC on the case so quickly. #TunbridgeWells
