Spent the past year trying to determine how 2 dozen+ people descending from the same ancestral couple are related to my family. And they lived less than 30 miles from my current location! Why does (genetic) genealogy have to be so hard?

Just getting the welcome mat put out and sweeping away the cobwebs. Seeing a bewildering amount of BS on the horizon, gotta get ready to deal with it.
