a graph of the 2024 Detroit Tigers playoff odds; y axis goes from 0% to 100%, x-axis from april to october. the odds start around 25% and gradually decline until reaching nearly 0 and flatlining all of august, before ticking up in september and suddenly going nearly vertical in mid september to reach 100% by the season’s end. the vertical portion of the line forms the tail of a Y in the word “Gritty” which appears on the upper right part of the chart.
