I “adopted” this young fella, who sustained numerous fractures as a baby when the rest of the group tried to rescue him from his mom, who could not mother him appropriately. He walks with a limp, but is a happy dude. Going to put up “Eazy’s Corner” in my waiting room with updates on his progress.

I am working just outside Entebbe, Uganda and got to spend my Saturday at Ngamba Chimpanzee Sanctuary. I cannot tell you how amazing it was. As a young Chicagoan, I spent hours at the primate center at the Lincoln Park Zoo, enamored of these creatures 98.7% similar to us, genetically.

Concert tickets are out of control. I wanted to see Queens of the Stone Age more than Foo. I saw QotSA at a far better venue - The Anthem - in 2023 for probably $50 per ticket. Baseball stadium shows are mid for audience energy and worse for sound. This is crazy. Infield seats 250+ far way were $186

I love this video for obvious reasons. But, the look on the teacher’s face says a ton. As the parent of a hilarious kid with impeccable comedic timing, it is a daily challenge not to laugh while trying to maintain authority.

The damage that has been done to our society by media outlets allowing politicians to bestow the title of “Real American” to a subset of workers who are rural, and mostly White, is best explained by 40% of the country thinking that the map on the left matters, and the one on the right doesn’t at all
