If I’m active on here it’s because I just can’t take it anymore
Graham doesn’t fit left-liberal central casting so people are more willing to believe bullshit innuendo about him. People were looking to bury him as a crypto-right winger from day one because of how he looked and his military service. All they needed was a half-assed rationalization

You made the comparison a month ago.

It was not the vibe on the ground in Virginia in 2017 either. There was a full on melt down about how Northam was blowing it based on some polls and media whispering

The full response, which I think is very good context
October 17, 2025 at 2:20 PM
Graham’s response to the leaked shitposts has been pretty fucking good IMO. This will resonate.
October 17, 2025 at 1:22 PM
His response as so far been nuanced and authentic, and I think people frustrated by politics will find it relatable.
October 17, 2025 at 1:20 PM
Seriously yall need to step up the media literacy.

This government — and the movement it embodies — is *openly anti-semitic!* this isn’t a debatable question.

Democrats could stay totally quiet on every social issue and throw every minority under the bus and your cousin Joey will still log in to Facebook and get inundated with fake news slop like this every day. (This is just a totally made up story, made up out of whole cloth to farm engagement)

He did not say he admired Josh Hawley. A reporter asked him to name some senators he admired and then obviously pressed him for a Republican and he said he agreed with Hawley on one thing (which presumably we all do)
October 15, 2025 at 5:14 AM
The right wing is currently waging their entire Virginia campaign around Jay Jones offensive private texts.
October 15, 2025 at 5:04 AM
Ok I found out, this reads VERY much like a reporter asked him to name a Republican he could say something good about, and he said he could find common ground with Hawley on one narrow thing and he pointed to a really popular thing that Collins opposes.

That’s good politics.

I’m going to give you the pictures of the Four Alpha Male High-T Master Race Warriors captured in these chats, without further comment

I made this observation yesterday and don’t feel great that it only took 24 hours for the admin to confirm it. They are Darwinists when it comes to health.

Two of these dudes already look like they would fit right in at a corner pub eating an Italian beef sandwich
October 7, 2025 at 10:11 PM
Pete Hegseth going to be fuming at seeing these troops

The systemic impact of this chart (from the American Institute of Cancer Research) are staggering. This is an absolutely catastrophic time in our history to be making policy decision that separate people from insurance and the preventative care it provides access to

I’ve been very frustrated with the whole “come on it’s just a Meme! You’re getting triggered by a MEME!” response. Like, ok? This is exactly what was said when people were doing this? If you want to be an edgelord you elect to get treated like one.

Voted against cancel culture today

(Yeah the texts are bad and I never liked the guy but if you think I’m going to let an ambitious Republican AG that wants to be governor/senator do lawfare against Spanberger you’re crazy)
October 6, 2025 at 7:07 PM
Von is very obviously talking about JD Vance here.
October 5, 2025 at 8:03 PM
Reminiscent of this from early in his career (guy being kind of a dick but the reaction is ridiculous)
October 4, 2025 at 4:50 PM
The closing graf of the Politico story on this is unintentionally hilarious
October 3, 2025 at 10:37 PM
To believe that the President has any leverage over Dems during this shutdown you have to accept, as a basic premise, that the opposition party will suffer when the President inflicts pain and suffering on people by intentionally damaging public services.

If you believe that, you’re a simp.
