Very fond memories of that night in the Palazo de Alantejo and the day celebration in Lisbon

I left Glasgow 39 years ago and this is the image of my youth. Played football every night near the flagpole in the summer.
My shot from 2 years ago (27th May 2023).

Sometimes you need some clouds to enhance a fantastic sunset. Other times, Hammersmith Bridge will suffice.

Looks more inviting than where we are currently, in Queensland, Oz.
Sunshine State My Arse.
I’ll be looking for a rebate based on false advertising. Been planning to get here for 30years and it’s currently like Ardrossan in a 4 day long gale.

Been in Oz for 2 weeks and we’re now in the so called Sunshine State. Been waiting for 2 days for the forecasted cyclone to pass through the area. The predicted rainfall in this area on Saturday is mind boggling with nearly 2 feet of rain in an 18h period. Thankfully we’re near the top of a hill.

My 1st visit to Oz. Always wanted to visit the Rod Laver Arena but never thought it would be for a non-tennis event.
Here’s to a fun night with the Home Queen (not you Margaret Court)!
Not exactly my music but fek it - when in Melbourne.

Loved French cinema of 80s/90s but this more recent one, from Lebanon had the biggest impact on me.

No surprises about her shameless opportunism, given her ministerial brief from 2022-2024 after the publication of recommendations from the previous national inquiry.

Credit my mate for this one; shamelessly knicked:

Cantley Christmas kicked off in style last night. A few call offs due to the storms but you can’t keep a good team down.
Ma ghirls…

I’ve sold my season ticket this year as I’m away for a lot of spring but your view looks pretty much the height mine’s is in 404.
This, from a few years ago on an unforgettable night v Huns

Refreshing to see some honesty against this performative bollocks.
Well said on both counts Paul Mescal.

I agree about the capacity; no need imo to have a large increase just a lot better facilities. This, I envisage could work with seating above the corporate boxes.
I took this at LA Galaxy’s stadium a couple of years ago

David Low was saying back in August about the funding for a stadium refurb would easily be covered by a new £100m+ share issue

Good morning folks.
My 1st post on Bluesky and thought I’d kick off with this capture from last November in Richmond Park, London just after sunrise.
The amount of light may be limited at this time of year but can be magical.
Enjoy!
