The name (translates to 'lake of white deers') comes from the lake at the top of Hallasan, overlooking all of Jeju. The beer itself tastes like a stronger, more floral Hoegaarden. Not for me, but the can has the best artwork of them all IMO. Merry Xmas

Genuinely didn't realize this was lemon-flavoured until my first drink. I guess I focused too much on the artwork on the can and less on the actual text. It's a shandy. I like a shandy, but for me, it's a daytime drink. Not how I want to kick off my Christmas Eve.

Where to start with this one? Sulbing is a chain that specializes in Korean shaved ice dessert (빙수). Injeolmi is a popular topping made from rice cake and steamed powdered dry beans (but sweet). The beer has the scent, but the flavour is subtle. Weird.

The concept of this beer was to capture both the taste of a lager and the individuality of an ale. Did they succeed? What do I know. It's good though, with just enough hops to not be overpowering and a subtle citrus flavour. Pleasantly surprised with this one.

My third Jeju beer, Pellong (펠롱) means 'sparkling' in the Jeju dialect. Without any factual info to back this up, I'm going to say it's because of the feeling on your tongue when you drink a hoppy beer, which this is. I cannot recommend Jeju beers highly enough.

KYLE is an abbreviation for "Korea Flavourfully Beer" which obv makes zero sense to most of you, but for anyone living in SK, you're not surprised. It's a simple, clean-tasting lager with a low alcohol % (a trend atm). Would go really well with Korean fried chicken.

Krush is becoming more and more popular in SK these days. I assume that's because of its drinkability. Krush is really light and mild. Like, the most subtle beer flavour I can recall. It's like drinking corn tea. It's good, but personally, I want my beer to bite.

Another Jeju beer, its named after a Jeju UNESCO site that is otherwise known as Sunrise Peak (best place on the island to watch the sunrise). It's light and really easy to drink with a subtle citrusy taste/smell (because Jeju). Very, very good.
