I guess that can't rule them out being created for that role but Vaggi being fluent in Spanish does raises a lot of questions. Why can she speak Spanish, why give them varying personalities, why do they look so different physically when they ought to be identical?

If we take the Cherubs in HB at face value then they knew the Exorcists were a pre-existing thing that Cletus described as "The Flaming Swords of Heavens that strike demons down with a firey vengeance".

The problem with that theory for me is that if we presume the Exorcists were created specifically for the Extermination then that would make Vaggi 7 years old technically which is a little weird 😬. Unless they were created prior to the Exterminations being a thing which is possible I guess.

I lean towards the Exorcists being Winners recruited by Adam & molded into his image hence why they all look very similar to each other.

I do hope that either next season or s4 we'll dive into the mechanics of the Exorcists, what they where, & how they came to be. Where they a subset of a broader angel army hand picked by Adam to commit the killings? Are they human-born Winners or are they Heaven-born angels?

Yeah no, I stopped watching him after the BG debacle among other things. He has done some pretty good video essays in the past but this is bottom of the barrel clickbait slop even for him. If people want a more fair & nuanced opinion on the Hellaverse 3BSkyen is leagues better IMO.

Ohh this is what you'rereferring to. Interesting 🤔. Certainly sounds like Alastor though I wonder if this is a misdirection. Then again I can't really think of anyone else she could be referring to. Nevertheless super hyped for s3 & just the Hellaverse more broadly 😊.

Do you think we'll get Alastor's heel turn villian arc next season? I was thinking Lilith & Lute were going to be the main villians with Val & as the Angel-subplot main villian. I guess s3 can go in any direction.

Not how I expected him to go tbh. I always assumed he was eaten by a shark based on a lot of his shark like qualities but I'll take this, still hilarious way to go xD.

The annoying thing to is once Angel's family is introduced & we learn why he did what he did people are going to complain about that to & say Viv is milking Angel Dust (not the fun kind lol) for cheap drama & angst. As if a lot people in abusive relationships didn't also have an abusive family.

Yeah, idk. S1's pacing issues might have contributed to that to an extent but as you said Val still owns Angel's soul so the VVV's were always going to be obstacles & setbacks towards Angel's recovery.

All he really did in S1 was take back a tiny piece of his personal autonomy, he still has a long way to go & a lot of trauma to unpack & move past from before all is said & done. And of course the abusers in his life are going to be fighting tooth & nail to try stop that from happening.

I guess some people misinterpreted Angel standing up to Val at the end of S1 as somehow him getting past his abusive relationships when it was actually literally just the 1st/2nd step on a very long road of recovery/redemption.

More likely Luci will be the power source whilst Charlie will be the one to go ham on Vox. We're gonna mirror the scene where Luci tried & failed to attack Vox but because of Vox's deal with Alastor he won't be able to fight back in a complete reversal of Luci with Vox.

The glare made it look like the one exorcist's foot was bleeding in the 2nd image & had to do a double take. But yeah kinda confirms the exorcists were a very cult-like organization. It looks like Lute is in the line up along with this other unknown Exorcist. Very curious as to what the story is.
