Kindness and empathy are strengths
Truth.
Transgender people are the vehicle they will use to oppress and subjugate people who are not transgender.

By allowing the government and other organizations to enact anti-transgender guidelines and laws, the more control you, as a non-transgender person, give up.

You know, people can be offended by literally anything. If you can’t do something because it offends someone, then you have no freedom at all that can’t be taken away at someone else’s whim. Being naked should be a human right, and if it offends you, that’s tough titty.

Why I love the naturist community. Someone interacts with me for the first time and I’m given kindness and support.

Let’s do this for each other more often.
glad to hear that you are well. Sending you love and light

Giving thanks to @nudernix.bsky.social, @mariewilla.bsky.social, @truebluenude.bsky.social, & @blootgesteld.bsky.social for the convos and support over the years.

I don’t get to my local spot enough to have community here, so online is my outlet for personal connection in the nudist world.

I’ve always viewed Thanksgiving as a speed bump toward my Solstice/Yule celebrations. But never felt it should be a day forcing underpaid labor to work ridiculous hours in the face of throngs of rabid shoppers.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Skip Black Friday!

Two months ago I had a stress attack but thought it was my heart. I’d been pushed into survival mode & was tapped out. One of my first actions was to reconnect with you all. And a week later I went where I feel whole (📸). Exercising more, changed diet, managing workload. Things have improved. ☮️ ❤️ 🍑

Took a while but I finally got all my appeals accepted. May Bluesky’s algorithm someday understand nudism.

A simpler time on Little Beach (Maui) in 2009. Simpler for me. But also for Little Beach. Official harassment of beachgoers began in 2020. It is an abuse of power and waste of public funds.

It says a lot about how we treat the human body that nudists and naturists are at the margins of society while creepy sexual predators gain access to levers of power the world over.

Maybe they shouldn’t get to drive the narrative.

The biggest hurdle for naturism? Misunderstanding. Let's be clear: This is an ethical, non-sexual practice focused on well-being and nature connection. It's the normalization of the human form, nothing more. #naturism #misconceptions #education

Heed this.
"Monday Motto" - If your camera keeps zooming in on your genitals, you’ve missed the whole point of naturism and nudism. It’s about people, not parts. It's not a biology or anatomy lesson. It’s about comfort, respect, and being real. Zoom out. There’s a whole person there.

I may not always meditate atop a cliff in Hawaii, but this throwback was built for Stress Awareness Day.

It’s no coincidence that after recent stress-induced incidents that I’ve reconnected with my most comfortable way of being.

During the first fall of the pandemic, online connection was a lifeline to combat isolation.

Having returned recently, I’m grateful to those who’ve followed and are helping me rebuild my connection to this community.

18 years ago, my first naturist photo was taken in a secluded spot on a Malibu beach. After we got home, we transferred the photos and wiped the card before giving the borrowed digital camera back. We never imagined phones would be cameras.

Naturism and Woke Values: Why Naturists Get It Right
Is naturism “woke”? Absolutely. Respect, equality, body freedom, and caring for the planet are baked into naturism. Here’s why naturism and woke is a strength, not an insult.

Hate, including self-hatred, is learned. It’s conditioning or a choice, not inherent.

What if we raised people to feel worthy from their earliest days? What if we redeemed people who break the internal or external cycles?

Everybody is worthy of dignity.

Every body is worthy of dignity.

This is my all-time favorite photo of myself. I was weeks from marriage looking back at the love of my life. I actually had a raging headache and a lot of studying to do. But you wouldn’t know it.

Find someone who accepts you for you. It makes a world of difference.

My grandfather’s stories about WWII planted the seeds of pacifism. As a child I was challenged to fights and refused, recognizing the futility of battling. For anyone who has striven for nonviolence in their lives, I recommend this book that I read many years ago.

1) When I am nude among fellow nudists or with trusted non-naturists, I am very comfortable in my skin. I don’t even think about it.

I’ve discovered that I am calmer with a more natural, less strained look in my eyes and smile when I take an unclothed photo. It is the purest expression of my being, of who I am at my core.

We are called to love people as they are for who they are. We start by doing that for ourselves.
