Ugh I’m sorry. I can’t get over the animosity towards federal workers and the glee people have for people losing their job.

*tell companies & the country why you can’t buy a car right now. Tell them why you can’t plan a vacation. Tell them why you can’t use discretionary income due to the current administration’s instability. Let businesses know that this will hurt them & the economy as well!

*check in with coworkers. Make sure you all have a trusted source of news. Union may not have much power but they are on your side. Some are scared, some are ready to fight & some can’t talk about it due to anxiety. You can be any one of these at different times or all at once. It’s normal(3)

*make sure you print all of your personal HR pages. Job description, grade/step, all PAR actions, benefits & updated thrift balance.

*if there are DEI posters still up take them down & preserve them! They will only get destroyed if left up. (2)
