As for the comments about the budget process, I knew from the get-go that this new form of govt would render the new City Council about as useless as our County Cmrs. are under that form of govt. All you get are scraps to squabble over at the end, Candace didn't understand what she was creating. 😂

No, you literally are supposed to represent the people who voted for you. As for the people "who don't have a voice." You speaking for them isn't giving them a voice it's stealing their voice.

Small, mom & pop businesses, you know, the ones we shunned big corporations for? We're letting them die. During the meeting they cited that the city lost $12 million in business licenses alone, that's not even getting into lost tax revenue, and sadly represents businesses leaving PDX.
