The first Thursday of every month I host an online Death Cafe from 6-8pm Pacific Time.

This is open to everyone who is interested in listening and sharing about the topic of death. Each from their own unique wisdom, without advice giving nor cross talking.

A friend of mine has been organizing this raffle to help support a Palestinian family. I donated some of my time, combining my Compassionate Accompaniment and organizing skills.

Newton is the dog who has been living with me for close to two years. He has lymphoma, and is getting closer to death. He is seven years old.

Earlier this week I thought he was done eating/drinking and moving around. He has rebounded a bit, which is an example of dying not being a linear process.

Käthe Kollwitz has been my favorite artist ever since I discovered her work. If you are not familiar, the theme is largely death and grief during authoritarian oppression. I have been thinking about her work recently and this one stands out to me the most at this time.
