Scout Dog Teams walked on “Point‘ during Infantry jungle patrols. The “Point” and his Scout Dog (off leash) were followed closely by the “slack” man who must be an experienced soldier to “back-up” the “Point” team. NO CHERRIES! Read more about them here:
