There are no mass protests in defense of the govt. There are crazed settlers, and they are a minority -- concededly the govt's favorite child, but a minority nonetheless.

I don’t think ethnonationalism is a virtue— I just think it’s ordinary. I think the idea that Israel is more of an ethnostate than most countries is silly, it was before 2018.
