But we need to start the process of rejoining. An unambiguous plan that the UK is part of the EU within x years.

Agree and excellent article, but the BBC, in its current form, has had its day.
It needs to merge with the other uk broadcasters to create a competitive UK brand, or they will all fall at the alter of usa tech.

Agree and excellent article, but the BBC, in its current form, has had its day.

The BBC in its current structure simply does not work, and the commercial channels have no chance against the ad might of USA tech
The BBC, ITV, 4&5, need to merge into 1, UK owned, commercial (with guardrails) media platform.
If not there will be nothing left of our independent media.

The BBC in its current structure simply does not work, and the commercial channels have no chance against the ad might of USA tech

What we need, is not more proof points of the obvious, but some positive moves from someone to start the process for us to rejoin.
