And somehow Trump will spin this in his tiny little mind until the attack is actually Ukraines fault. I hope it is some consolation to Ukrainians to know that most of the democratic world knows the truth and supports Ukraine.

Ukraine continues to make good faith efforts to end a war it didn’t start. Putin, on the other hand, prevaricates and obfuscates as necessary to mollify the gullible Trump. Ultimately, I believe Ukraine will have to settle this conflict on the battlefield-with diminishing support from a fickle U.S.

Really, at this stage nothing Trump does or says should be a surprise to anyone. In history the question is often-do great events make great men/women or do great women/men make great events. I think in this case there is little question-Trump is driving world affairs,
sadly for millions.

Can you imagine all these delegates having to listen to this inconsequential human being and pretend that he had some worth only because Americans decided to vote for a waste of space he calls his father.
December 7, 2025 at 11:02 PM
At risk of tying myself in knots of inconsistency-I believe Trump is a truly stupid man who has a genius for identifying, creating or exploiting any opportunity to monetize the office of the Presidency.

This article confirms what must surely be obvious to any objective observer-Trump and his gang of thieves would happily sell Ukraine, and NATO, out to Putin if they can benefit financially. Visions of a Trump riviera on Gaza’s coast have faded-Ukraine is his next target. NATO needs to stand firm.

Makes sense Trump, leader of the most corrupt US admin ever, has a fictitious award bestowed upon him by an organization notorious for corruption. What would complete the farce would be to have the third member of the unholy trinity of corrupt organizations-the Olympics-also award him a peace award.

Makes you wonder what all those Republicans were complaining about when they took to the airwaves to condemn Ontario’s ad citing Reagan. Indignant they were that Canada would presume to interfere in American politics.

One little acknowledged result of Putin’s colossal misadventure in Ukraine, is the resultant diversion of vast sums of money from social spending to defence spending. Medical, educational and social spending is all taking a back seat to military requirements in the face of the threat posed by Putin.

This is one life’s mysteries-how a woman who was, undoubtedly one of Britain’s least successful PM’s, continues to have an audience for her opinions.
December 5, 2025 at 2:10 PM
And in reality, what doing his own thing has meant, is exploiting international conflicts for personal gain. Sending Witkoff and Kushner to Russia to try to wring business opportunities from Russia and Ukraine is just the latest example.

Unfortunately, this is one of those equivalence situations. Farage/Trump can lie about everything, all the time and that gets a pass but if BBC or CBC strays from the absolute truth even once, it is proof that members of the ‘mainstream media’ are liars and out to get Farage/Trump. So frustrating.

Much like here in Canada, Nov brings long hours of darkness w Christmas too far away to brighten our days. Stay safe.

Geez, Donald do u think maybe ur being played, and played, and played. Lucy never had as much success w the old pull the football trick as Putin has had w u.

Netanyahu is correct. Israel is not a client
state of the US, in fact it is the opposite-the US is a client state of Israel.

Couldn’t agree more. Would the Jays go to the WH? Lots of Americans on the team but wouldn’t sit well here I think

We are half way thru Oct- I have yet to hear anything of significance come out of Russia’s leadership.

Impressive turnout but this needs to be weekly-if Georgia can do it so can the U.S.

Seriously I am not sure he could locate Ukraine on a map

I love seeing these videos.
We get the clips of explosions and destruction but it is encouraging to get a different perspective-one that shows the resilience and desire of Ukrainians to maintain some normalcy in the midst of Putin’s insanity.

Sure, hold the ‘peace’ talks in Hungary-the most anti-Ukrainian country on the continent, led by Putin’s lap dog, Orban. Zelenskyy surrounded by Putin and his enablers Trump and Orban. What Putin has failed to achieve on the battlefield, he may accomplish in the backroom.

And yet somehow despite this abject, desperate poverty, Putin remains in power.

Pritzker appears to be someone willing to stand up to
Trump, and even more importantly,
he has been successful.

Of course if these types of lineups occurred in Ukraine, Russia would target them w drone attacks. Yet another indicator of the difference between Ukraine and Russia.
