This statement about the Waitangi Tribunal by David Seymour is utterly, utterly false.

“It’s tried to become a source of authority in its own right and appears to regard itself as a parallel government.”

Government announces review into ‘activist’ Waitangi Tribunal
The Māori development minister says a review will take place into the Treaty of Waitangi Act 1975, with the ACT Party saying it was “time to put the Tribunal in its place”.

Christopher Luxon describes the wellbeing budgets as woke. He should have said WISE. www.oecd.org/en/about/dir...
WISE
WISE generates new data and policy approaches to improve people's well-being and reduce inequalities, mapping how human well-being is impacted by ecological, digital and demographic transitions.

Treaty Principles Bill: ‘If this law was kai it would be an ACT school lunch’
Bland, colourless, leaves a sour taste in the nation’s mouth - submitter gives zero stars for what David Seymour is cooking on Treaty principles.

Submitted on the TPB. By ignoring the treaty principle of exchange, the Bill misses the whole purpose of the peacetime treaty in 1840 and makes very serious errors of interpretation as a result. Let’s celebrate 50 years of the Waitangi Tribunal and its brilliant work on the principles.
