Reader, dreamer; an enthusiastic satisfier of curiosity (maybe yours, maybe mine).
Uketsu slaps (good job Jim Rion, on the translation!). I liked Strange Pictures even more; both are a delight if you want to toss your brain around. If these great covers have been teasing you - yeah, they are worth picking up. <3

I just preordered Strange Buildings, out March 3rd! #books #booksky

This book is fresh out today and it was a very interesting Bradbury-like read. I read it its ARC to see what the hype was about and yeah, I get it.

I feel like it’s going to be a book to hit high school required reading lists someday. Captures a lot about our current moment. A lot of the dread. 💙📚

HAPPY PRIDE! We did it!! 💙📚 #books #horror

What if a gelatinous cube was also a mimic and also kinda loved you a bit, like so much she wants to store eggs in your lady curves? Yeah. It’s surprisingly sweet and funny for as scream-inducing the plot is. Reminds me of Alien Clay: I loved it & winced

I did not know what I was getting into here. It’s gritty magic and rather dark (and my book group was icked out) BUT I enjoyed it and the ladies’ relationship. I am looking forward to the next one - it’s a series!

This YA horror novel thrashed me. It’s a fabulous, sensitive work with two trans characters, one with autism. I loved that the author wrote the reader a caution letter to start. It’s grim in there, but also GREAT.

Narrated & co-written by Queer Eye star Van Ness, this book is hilarious, empowering and will give you life. Do it. Fall for the haunted vintage handbag and our delightful non-binary protag. You will only have a good time.

💙📚 so I don’t know if there are awards for incredible work and artistry on a particular book’s binding/printing but there should be and I want to know about it

The sweater is fuzzy!! (Also this book is wonderful if you have not read it)

I work as a bookseller and we got our copies in a few days early. Having to wait to sell it was torture. lol

An ARC called The Dilemmas of Working Women, a bestseller in Japan, new to English readers this August. It’s deeply semi-comfortably (?) relatable; I totally get why it won the Naoki Prize. Plus they are short stories, which I think is super nice to slot in between other works. :)
