I just finished this, and I cannot begin to say how awesome it is: A female, Muslim pirate in the 12th century comes out of retirement to sail the Indian Ocean chasing after magical artifacts to destroy them at the behest of god-like bird-creatures. Oh, and it has positive LGBTQIA+ representation.
