FYI, if you're on Medicare, and you've started to receive "Stay Healthy with Dr. Oz" emails, at the bottom of the email you'll see an "Unsubscribe" link, helpful if you want to avoid having lies, distortions, and misinformation from being sent to your email account.

Kerter storage box for my 8" Dobsonian telescope. I'm bolting the box to my concrete observing pad so I don't have to haul it out there every evening. Lockable and I'm going to seal the lid to keep out dust. Will test it for water tightness before it's placed.

Relaxing in the evening on our new patio on the corner of our Flagstaff property. Nice spot for doing some casual night sky viewing

Best money I've spent in a while - $208 for the entire Buckethead collection on Bandcamp. 836 albums. Bought them a couple months ago, haven't stopped listening to them since. Amazing range of compositions, from crazed stuff (not my fave) to incredible concept albums.

Total economic chaos today. What's Trump doing about it? Golfing at taxpayer expense.

I've had every version of the Raspberry Pi since the first, with the exception of the version 4. Just got a 5, it's the first one that I can say is actually usable as a desktop computer, very impressive. $80 for a 4GB with a case, SD card, and power supply. Version 4 was probably similar.

I've seen this a lot with the pros, but this short vid is a good explanation of why rotating your brake hoods inward can be beneficial in road and gravel cycling. I'm definitely going to give it a try... when my ortho grudgingly permits me to ride on the road again🚴

Here’s why I run my bars like this, let me explain. (The internet HATED this😂) #cycling #roadbike

Incredible findings, further support for the scientific explanation of the origins of life on Earth, and exciting evidence that life may have evolved similarly elsewhere in our galaxy and in other galaxies.

Homeowner's insurance in AZ has been going up exponentially the last 5 years. Example, our Flagstaff place:

Starting with 2020
2021 up 15% (year on year)
2022 up 30%
2023 up 12%
2024 up 41%
2025 up 62%

For 2025, it was going to be 83% before I reduced PP coverage and raised deductibles.
