Successful weekend working on my app Breava. I got syncing to Health set up (and saving history in the app - UI for seeing history is still TBD)

I just launched a small breathing app I’ve been working on.

Super simple: no logins, no distractions, no upsells for subscriptions and daily meditations. Just open it and take a few slow breaths.

Try it out, let me know what you think 🧘

Why do we find ourselves stuck in situations where everyone is worse off than if they just cooperated? Racing to the bottom. Over using resources.

I’m not sure that was worth the effort to implement 🙈, but it was a fun diversion

Added a dark mode preference (I like having control over colors as a user)

I’ve not looked at it before so I asked o3-mini for suggestions. It was making a meal of it though! Blogs and Stackoverflow ftw for once.

I saw this leave a review link in a few indie apps. I think I’ll add it to some of my apps. More chance to get reviews can never hurt when users seem to he liking the app (retention is decent so I assume they like it!)

My history of being an athlete makes me look at food as fuel most of the time, so I’m always interested in detailed nutritional info

Similar to how Brian Johnson talks about his Blueprint diet - every food there is serving a purpose with the nutrients it bings.

Teaching AI to reason: this year's most important story
Most people think of AI as a pattern-matching chatbot – good at writing emails, terrible at real thinking.

Been on the back burner but I think I’ll submit this to review this week, just giving it a last check over.

Still need a name though 😳

Toying with Nutri Form, Smart Bites, or I could just stick to its workings title of Amino Calculator…

More charting progress this afternoon. I love the animation when the pie chart updates - so smooth and easy with #SwiftUI

Exact design to be decided still (and this whole top bar is going to break horribly with large fonts as it stands…)

I’m colourblind, when I see a rainbow I see 2 maybe 3 colours, not "all the colours of the rainbow"

It wasn't until my late teens when I realised rainbows actually have seven colours and it’s not just something people say. I assumed it was more like “science says there’s 7 colours in the rainbow"
