Just saw there's an "over 40" RC car racer category in some European championship. Nice! I'm hoping it's the driver's age and not some class or car type thing I don't know about :).

Is there a name for this “foam dome” I don’t know how to make fancy designs but I’m quite happy with this each morning.
Separately I “fixed” this machine recently by unscrewing the back, going “whoa no thanks” then descaling it. Turns out that was the problem lol

In Nov 2024 I ordered a replacement rubber band for a Sony M-9 microcassette recorder we found at an estate sale. I finally put it into today for my 12 year old and he initially resisted but then played with it for at least 15 minutes. I hope he records more than cuss words at some point. Minor win!

Just finished watching all 7/8 Mission Impossible movies in reverse order and had a nice laugh out loud at the tie-ins and evolution of repeated action formulas. Pretty fun.

Pretty happy with this technical training quiz workflow: Record technical video in Teams, feed transcript to Claude with prompt to create multiple choice quiz, feed resulting MD file into Microsoft Forms quiz engine. CoPilot failed this middle part due to character limitations.

Just upgraded my Traxxas Slash R/C Car to a BL-2S brushless motor and I can't wait to get it all dirty tomorrow and dig some new lines in the backyard before the bugs come out.
