I’ve been working my way through The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley and enjoying it. Im waiting for it to go off the rails soon.

Next reads will be a couple library books.

I read the second story from Cay Fletcher’s, Queer Windows Volune 1 Spring, “Rosemary for Remembrance,” and I loved this little quote.

Starting this lovely little book of short stories I got at Worldcon from Cay Fletcher. I read for 30min and loved “The Wizard’s Garden.” Grumpy garden center clerk helps a wizard with his dust mite problem in his magical gardens. Such a happy and cute story. Much better use of 30min than scrolling.

I had the privilege to read for three hours today. I’m really enjoying The Quiet Room by Terry Miles. It is a sequel to Rabbits. It is about a secret game where weird coincidences and alternate reality disturbances occur. Fun books. They remind me of Blake Crouch’s and Jennifer Lynn Barns books

I also read 3 volumes of A Man and His Cat by Umi Sakurai. v7-9. The quality of this series has been phenomenal. Not only are there cute cats and a bunch of pianists loving the cats but there is this really complex set of relationships that questions comparison culture. We have stray cats and kids!

Great sequel from Esme Symes-Smith! Sir Callie and the Dragon’s Roost opens up the world and plot even more in this series! I’m really hoping for like a 5-7 book series. Middle Grade is so good.

Loved this manga about family, death, grief, prejudice, and the nonjudgmental innocence of children. Highly recommend My Brother’s Husband by Gengoroh Tagame. Looking forward to volume 2.
