Just had an idea for a solution to Daylight Saving Time that seems obvious yet which I've NEVER, EVER heard anyone else suggest: split the difference. Most of the U.S. just sprang forward 1 hour. Fall back 30 minutes, and leave it like that forever. [1/2]

Truly enjoyed the movie 'Saturday Night' and the wild scene at 30 Rock just prior to the very first SNL. What a great young cast. I never knew Chevy Chase & Belushi hated each other; or that NBC brass was mere seconds away from airing a Johnny Carson re-run instead. [Netflix]
