'Making Things Real Again' is quite a ridiculous story TBH, a wondering what might have happened had Russian Formalist Viktor Shklovsky dragged his ideas (and his prodigious temper) up a big hill. It was longlisted for the

I (British, living in London) was chatting to an American I met recently who has just moved to the UK but has toured widely (not just the US, but also the UK, Europe and beyond) with quite a successful band, and he asked me quite innocently, "have you visited mainland Europe?"
