Yeah I see that. I am slightly concerned because that means you need to have both a very strong reason for this /and/ a superior send off than what we already got. I’ll be very critical about it as I’m watching the movie for sure. They’re claiming it was the plan, but who knows.

But if I see the movie and it is, I’ll be the first one to call it out. I just don’t feel like I know enough about the context yet. But I’m giving these two the benefit of the doubt.

I actually don’t personally feel it’s a stretch to say this could be for very valid, emotional and story driven reasons regarding Doctor Doom as a threat to everyone’s happy life across several universes. TWS was The Russos debut; I don’t believe it’s this cynically driven.

It also at one point has a whole song essentially about Trump supporters. And yes it was perfect.

A blind priest puts a glowing cross made of light into a shovel and then Hellboy just starts beating the shit out of zombies with it. Idk how not to enjoy that.

You got zombies, witches, body horror… all kinda cool.
