I feel sad. I think I just unintentionally annoy most people. Even a person who’s been there for nearly half of my life decided that was enough (no one on here). Maybe that thing was just an excuse to check out.

Does anyone else reading this feel that way? If any read anything I say at all.

haven’t seen Picard Season 3 since its debut three years ago. It’s knocking me flat emotionally just as strongly. I should have watched it again way sooner.

When Gore Verbinski goes weird, I’m here for it. Even his PG-13 Pirates films stretch that rating. This? I’m about it. youtu.be/CaSxNAZUKsM?...

This guy was a terrific adult Eddie. Sometimes I really hate the human brain. R.I.P.

I think Supergirl looks good. I’m a bit spent on the repeated GOTG infused vibe, but I’m actually liking what I’m reading between those lines.

Tron: Ares is easily the best Tron movie. I said what I said. I’m kind if baffled that this isn’t the general consensus.

I love Tarantinos work (most of the time). Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is my favorite film of the last ten years— But it seems like at least once every few years, he wants to be a total asshole. I’m almost starting to think it’s undiagnosed bipolar disorder.

This looks genuinely good. Considering Gans had a budget much less than his 2006 film, it’s beyond impressive to me. youtu.be/B74TQrvx61Y?...

Wicked For Good has some mild issues I felt could have been more fine tuned, but getting past those these are among the best films New Line has put out since the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Just moving and gorgeous stuff.

Return To Silent Hill looks great. I’m happy that I’m able to allow myself to take something in as its own thing. Others just can’t seem to understand these things shouldn’t be carbon copying the thing you like. That’s not what a good adaptation always is. Different medium, different approach.

Huh… kind of enjoying Hellboy: The Crooked Man. It’s the modern equivalent of a direct to video horror movie from the 90s; the ones I enjoy. It actually has a solid emphasis on nightmarish horror… once you get past the opening ten minutes of a cheaply done giant digital spider and train. 1/2

It’s very simple, remembering this: if Ted Cruz is having a bad day, it’s because something happened that may make yours better.
Ted Cruz: "Last night was a disaster. It was an electoral blowout. The results in New Jersey were disastrous. The results in Virginia were terrible."

@realgdt.bsky.social *Damn*…

Frankenstein is living in a fully realized world. I always felt grateful to be there. The source material was able to live onscreen, like it maybe hasn’t in some time, much like the “monster” himself. You’re a cinematic mad scientist man, and I love you and your work.

I can’t speak for anyone who has or may see Tron: Ares in a standard theater, but I can speak for myself having just seen it in IMAX 3D: Holy shit that worked. The combination of NIN + eye candy had me jammin’. The story/characters were completely sufficient and supported the adventure.

About to see Tron: Ares in IMAX 3D in a few minutes.

Listen. I’ll be the judge, alright? Alright.

A Nightmare On Elm Street 5: The Dream Child is super underrated IMO. Stylish, good characters and a decent story. It’s only in its final minutes does it maybe not work so well, but until then it’s loaded with solid stuff.
October 4, 2025 at 4:58 AM
I’m gonna need even more people to start realizing that Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge is incredibly awesome and one of the best horror films of the 80s.

Obviously many have come around. I’m just saying. Keep going.
