I used to like looking at Winter Hill through the binocs when I lived in my old house. Used to show up great in the snow. I was always amazed at how much detail I could pick up from about 13 mile away.

Oh, it’s not that I hate Christmas or anything. I don’t. I just peak too early. Happens every year. If I could walk around blinkered to it till the 2nd week in December I’d be much happier.

I don’t mind the occasional stout, when I’m in the mood, but I can’t stand IPAs. They’re like an obsession with a lot of pubs nowadays. It’s like a competition to see how many they can cram in.
