Cycling, music, cake, football, proper rugby (RL), history (not all necessarily in that order) and more records than I know what to do with or where to store

Yes the first Cropredy I went to was 1986, Robert Plant the special guest. Haven't been for a few years recently tho due to various circumstances. Peggy signed this for me at Cleethorpes Winter Gardens, c1984.

The first toasted barabrith of the seasons at Ginnys earlier this week - very nice it was too

It was spectacular wasn't it. I thought the drummer (and Adam) were great too + one of the backing singers was really getting into it dancing away. This was my view

You sure they haven't got that mixed up with Billy Joel!

This was Roxy's first tour without and Eno and with Eddie Jobson. They must have changed the support acts from when it was announced as your gig advert has different bands to this (the ones in the article)

Fine for me on the web using Firefox. Is it just the mobile version?

Yes it dates any video/photo to 72/73 when he is with Ayesha.

That sleeve is the 1980 'Pistols Pack' re-issue. This is the original cartoon sleeve that had to be withdrawn. 122 for sale on discogs so don't get too excited if you have one!

@mikestetter.bsky.social @johnp69.bsky.social a sight a thought I would never see again; a quite moved & quite poorly (he nearly cancelled the gig as he was suffering badly from a bug) Roy Harper taking the applause at the show in Birmingham last night. He mentioned maybe more gigs next year?

That song about a Cat that's not about a cat. I just did short clip but they guy next to me was filming the whole song. Guy behind didn't like it and it all kicked off - thought they were going to have a fight! Security came out and told everyone to stop filming!

Joe the Georgian, one of my favourite of his later songs

Time Passages - the sax/flute player was fantastic, shame I didn't get any of his solos

A few short clips of Al Stewart at Bournemouth Pavillion (Al's home town of course) last night. Great concert but quite short. He only played around a dozen songs - he has done 14-15 on previous nights this tour. Set opener - You Should Have Listened To Al

Monument in the middle of a field to the bloke who discovered the source of the Nile, followed by a lovely piece of carrot cake in Steeple Ashton.*
