Not sure they thought hard enough about the wording of this sign in the airport toilets

Get privileged airport lounge access because of work. The main bit is noisy with families, business calls etc, fair enough. The ‘Quiet Section’ is where I head but people there make sneaky phone calls that are MORE annoying unless I act like a dick and say something. Maybe I’m the problem.

Some scenic ones in South Wales last week…though there are local signs everywhere decrying them

At last the algorithm gets me

This was the biggest thing to happen to the bald community in my lifetime. Me and my bald brothers will not see the likes of this for at least a generation

HEY BIG SLENDERRRRRR

I can’t stop thinking about this. How did the photographic director talk to the models? Was it a candid shot? Have I lead a sheltered life because I’ve never done this?

I’m as open minded as the next man but what is this act of outright depravity?

I just realised that you can pin posts. I'm a freelance writer & author. I mostly write about travel. I've also done arts/culture/celeb interviews. I edit/publish an online arts & culture mag for New Orleans. I would (probably) love to write for you. Clips/books/CV etc:

Some of the rusting machinery in the wild reminded me of some photos I took (I'm just a casual snapper, not an artist like yourself) in rural Colorado a few years ago.

Because I have the memory of a ditzy amoeba, I totally forgot that I'd ordered this collection of photos by @mariegardiner.bsky.social - it came in the post today and it's such a beautifully haunting set of landscapes, crumbling cottages and rural ephemera. Congrats, Marie, it's a great zine.

I would pay very good money to see Vinnie in The Berberian Sound Studio

Catching up on classic British films that I’ve never seen. Today’s: The Ipcress File

The mascot for these cheap paint rollers has a much more sassy attitude than he needs to have

Live analytics like this make me really happy (for a tiny magazine). We used to get 50 readers a month, now whenever I check in, there's usually at least one reader online. It's so much work to get this out every week, but it's really satisfying watching people latch onto it.

I mean you'd think they'd give it to someone with a bit more experience

Damn, I wondered when the guy was going to release some new material

I made this one as an aide memoire

The expression he’s making here makes it look like when he says, “…and see what happens”, what happens is he unleashes his team of lawyers and sues you into oblivion. Yeah, just see what happens. You’ll see.

They have, temporarily at least, become my most-thought-about pigeons. Previously it was this guy, the first pigeon trained to fly over enemy lines with a camera strapped to its torso. The first spy pigeon (name unknown).
