No more delays. No more excuses.

A full ban on trade with the illegal settlements is the very least we should be doing.

Ireland has a proud history of resisting empire and standing up to colonialism - we must not continue the complicity that this government is happy to ignore.

There can be no climate justice without social justice.

We're slipping deeper into a barbaric world that concentrates even more wealth into the hands of the biggest polluting billionaires and corporations.
It doesn't have to be like this, but we'lll have to take back power from tthem!

People Before Profit are using our time in the Dáil next week to propose a joint motion with left parties to demand implementation of the Occupied Territories Bill including goods and services by Christmas.

The time for delay and watering down is over.

It's time for action.

Government's housing plan is an admission of failure in advance.

The policy of stuffing increasingly more money into the pockets of private developers and corporate landlords will continue to fail.

We need a State Construction Company to cut out the profiteering and directly build public housing.

FF-FG are "prisoners of an ideology".

The latest today is just yet another neoliberal giveaway to developers.

The housing crisis will continue to get worse as the government continues to try and "incentivise" developers more.

We need a State Construction Company.

Have a look at Micheál Martin scrambling.

He doesn't like his gross hypocrisy called out.

He wants to bring in dirty fracked gas.

Speaking out of one side of his mouth at #COP30, and back to usual when he's home.

We have to be clear about the truth in the face of government spin.
Disabled people have been made poorer by about €1400.
Don't be fooled. It's a political choice to make people struggle more this year.

Renters are sacrificed to vulture funds by this government.

Government policy is to increase rents higher and faster to try and "attract international investment funds".

We need an eviction ban and rent controls to actually bring rents down.
November 13, 2025 at 1:04 PM
The revelations at the weekend from a CHI whistleblower are shocking.

We need a full public inquiry for #JusticeForHarvey.

The Dáil must debate this issue and have the minister answer questions on this issue.

Happy to be supporting Ruth Coppinger's Bill to ban fox hunting.

The Dáil will vote on this on 17 December, the first time in history a ban has been proposed on it.

This is not a "rural pursuit", it's animal cruelty pure and simple.

"Nothing about us without us"

Our communities know the difficulties that come with deprivation and drug abuse.

The people on the ground involved in delivering these essential services have to be included in the implementation of the National Drugs Strategy.

Where is the funding for DRIVE??

This government seems to be pulling funding for this essential project, leaving families in the lurch from the 1st of January.

Services like these are essential in our communities and they MUST be properly resourced and funded!

Our new President, Catherine Connolly.

A President for peace, justice and equality.

Well done to everyone in the movement which made this happen.

Don't let them get away with trying blame migrants and give themselves cover.

The housing, healthcare, and cost of living crises we face are a result of continuing government policy.

All the government is talking about doing is turning up the dial of performative cruelty on a minority - on asylum

Spill the beans!

"It seems like this government is continuing the policy that we've seen over the past 10 years or so of effectively the slow strangulation of our drugs and alcohol task forces."

We need actual investment and serious funding for these essential services in our communities.

"Everyday, pretty much, I get emails about the state of the bus services in Ballycullen, Knocklyon, Rathfarnham."

Buses fill after the first few stops, and don't collect the rest of the route.

It doesn't have to be like this.

We should have massively expanded bus routes and services.

Are people still going to try to deny the existence of a campaign of far right terror in this state?

Join this protest for El Fasher tomorrow.

The RSF Militia is committing atrocities in El Fasher. Thousands of innocent civilians are dying.

We must not be silent facing atrocities.

It's now day 48 of the hunger strike by survivors of the industrial and reformatory schools.

Maurice, Mariam, Mary, and Mary need written commitments for their very basic asks.

They need access to HAA medical cards and full state contributory pension.

The government must act now.

An important solidarity event this Saturday in Drogheda.

It's up to us in our own communities to stand together against racism and hate.
It is in the face of the far right and government stirring hatred against vulnerable people in our communities.
We must push back!

In a very dark world, we've had two bright lights - Connolly's victory and now Mamdani winning in New York.

There are powerful countercurrents to the rightward shift in politics at the top.

Now is the time to join the fight for ecosocialism as the only alternative to barbarism ✊

"I would appeal to anyone protesting outside any IPAS centre to think about what impact you're having, protesting outside children's homes at this stage."

It’s very important that those of us who stand for the working class and ordinary people in this country must speak the truth at this moment.

Fastway workers have been left in an awful situation by Fastway going into receivership.

They are going to be left without any pay and cannot apply for social welfare for the next 30 days because if they do, they would lose redundancy entitlements.

The government must step in.

"There is a direct line between the dog whistling of government leaders, scapegoating of asylum seekers based on misinformation, a direct line between that and the creation of a hostile environment."
Once again, the government is leaning into this scapegoating.

They want to distract
Don't let them.
