fortunately, since i have only been drunk a few times this calendar year, the most significant night being Nov 1, now every time i am even slightly drunk i get very emotional about the Los Angeles Dodgers. my boys. the back-to-back world series champions. i love them so much 😭

obviously i want my son Yoshinobu Yamamoto to win the cy young, but it would be kinda cool if skenes won it cause then also if skubal won, that would probably be the first time ever both cy young winners had last names starting with sk

no better place to have a world series parade than Los Angeles. nowhere else is capable AND warm enough in November for the hot baseball men to take their shirts off.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto threw the Dodgers first pitch of the regular season on March 18 in Tokyo and the last pitch in Game 7 of the World Series in Toronto on Nov. 1.
During it all, Yamamoto posted a 2.30 ERA and 0.95 WHIP across 211 combined regular season and postseason innings (and 3,315 pitches).

I'm so over everyone pointing out specifically the Dodgers' shitty practices/controversies/whatever, as a reason to root for whoever their opponent is. Reds, Phillies, Brewers, Jays, none of them are better. all the teams do the same shit and it always comes out. no ethical consumption etc etc
