We want the Government to halt all planned benefit cuts for disabled people unable to work. Instead of reducing benefits, we want them to rise in line with inflation. We want support, not hardship and deprivation, for those who cannot work.

Its a false economy move to freeze the "health element" of UC, as it will end up costing the tax payer more money in the long run. The Food Foundation found that 1,000 calories of healthy food such as fruit and veg costs £8.80, compared to £4.30 for less healthy food,

I don't want Labour MPs to be 'uneasy' about a Labour Govt penalising the disabled instead of raising taxes on the wealthiest. I want them to be wracked with guilt and shame and questioning how they find themselves in a party that acts like the Tories.
