These dudes are far from the best models I’ve ever painted. They’re not even my favorite models I’ve painted this year. But I will say, with certainty, they’re the Warhammer models that make me laugh the hardest when I see them.

I’m absolutely gobsmacked a huge anthology, edited by one of the most prominent editors in the field, can have a mistake this obvious and this outlandish, even before the damn introduction.

I’m kind of astounded at how good this Kill Team terrain looks after just two layers of dry brushing and some metallics on just the windows.

It strikes me that David Lynch died today at age 78, exactly 78 years and one day after the black Dahlia - who Lynch was obsessed with and whose ghost haunts all his work and whom is the centerpiece of one of the greatest stories Lynch ever told - was found in Leimert Park.
