Just read it has VtoG onboard 👍.

Love this. 800v. 200hp RWD. A ton or more payload. More range & faster charging. Up-to-date onboard system from other proven EVs. And not too hard on the eye. Could be my next van. No mention of vehicle-to-load, but surely?

You’re prob aware that 8-track was never a thing in the UK. We quickly adopted compact cassette in the 60s, prob because Philips was a European brand. I remember my dads car in the early 70s had an add-on Philips under-dash cassette player.

Oh my god, there it is! I take it back. (You know what, I’m fine with CDs)

Cassettes I knew about, has been going on here for years. 8-track tho?!! I’m sure even less ppl can play an 8-track than a VHS. I don’t know, maybe we’ll have a 8-track resurgence. Difficult without Radio Shack around tho 😀

Is it?!!! Couldn’t see anything about an 8-track release on their website. Maybe I don’t have my special hipster login credentials.

Fakety fake, but I’m sure the hipsters would be all over it! Do we still have hipsters? I don’t make it out to east london much these days 🤪

And I don’t need any more guitars… (which is unusual)

I must have the only husky on earth that doesn’t want to get on my bed. It’s disappointing to be honest.
November 19, 2025 at 2:12 AM
It really does. I either don’t extend my lease (meaning I can never sell) and my flat becomes worthless. Or I borrow £150k to extend the lease, and then I have to sell and move out. It’s a no-win situation.

Ludicrously unfair system. When you buy a home, it should be yours (especially after you’ve spent 25 years paying the mortgage off). It should NOT effectively belong to someone else. They didn’t buy it, I did.
November 18, 2025 at 11:02 PM
If I’d understood the implications of leasehold back in the nineties I might have been able to play it differently. Mind you, 20 years ago, I didn’t have two sticks to rub together - couldn’t afford to extend it then, even at a tenth of what they want now.

Have been hanging on for years, ever since the Tories started talking about reforming the leasehold system. On the promise of making it much cheaper to extend a lease or buy share of freehold. Now they’re saying it may not happen until 2029.
November 18, 2025 at 10:56 PM
I will then have to move to a much cheaper area, after paying to extend the lease for whoever buys it next. 😡
November 18, 2025 at 10:16 PM
I will have to borrow the money to extend my lease, then sell my flat to pay off what I borrowed. 🙁 I’ve only just paid off my mortgage, and now I’m about to lose the place I bought.

What are these “methods” that need protecting here Mike? Going round to Epstein’s properties and taking whatever they found? Pretty innovative technique there, would be disastrous if anyone figured out how they did that. 🤦‍♂️
November 18, 2025 at 5:57 PM
Absolutely. I will have to pay way more to extend the lease on my flat than I paid to buy it originally. Unfortunately Labour, like the Conservatives, are all about protecting freeholders’ ability to fleece their less well-off victims. I bought my flat once, I shouldn’t have to buy it again.

The language is deliberate. It must be. It’s not from a Reform supporter, or some rando on the internet, it’s written by someone representing a branch of our government. I’m appalled that our elected government is spreading intolerance like this.

What makes you think the roast dinner would be for you? 😀

Ask yourself how often you need to drive over 300 miles without stopping (and if this were Twitter I’d be putting my safety gear on about now.)

At Christmas too. I mean, bad at any time of the year, but… I just skimmed Wikipedia’s potted biography of King Herod and oh dear.

The fact that sh*t-stirring ass-hats are not tolerated by the customers here only makes BlueSky a better place. I know they’re out there. I don’t need to sit in a cafe full of them to remind myself they exist. Keep doing your thing BlueSky.

A lovely little conversation about the Marx Brothers organically blew up here yesterday (on the anniversary of the release of Duck Soup). Contributors were nice. I learned some things. Mark Hamill dropped by. BlueSky is like your favourite little coffee place. I approve.
