In Prestwich Library other day, 5 days after the Crumpsall synagogue attack, & I saw some books about local people, 1 of whom was Chaim Ferster. In it was a picture of him receiving the MEB in 2016. My dad received his MEB at the same ceremony. I spoke to Chaim, who showed me his Auschwitz tattoos

Allotment just about full now - added tomasina toms and courgettes to beef tomatoes, peppers, aubergine, melons and cucumbers

Sadly, the mimosa had to go - half-dead & too risky it falling on the grill. Nikos had it down to its stump in 25 minutes. At least it provided us with c. €40 of firewood... 1/2
