I suspect that the ignoring is due to the mental capture of so many in the USA to the Trump entertainment politics that to exercise the constitutional power against Trump is to risk loosing the constitution to Trump. Trumps followers are the main threat.

This years protest has had many success with many more joined in. Rising Tide is building to numbers impossible to Police. A kind shutdown of coal with 78% profits for Australian fossil exports funding the transition to being fossil free for the coal towns and coal workers.

Today’s midday flotilla testing the boundaries set by police and Maritime authorities.
Over a thousand protesters watched on the sands while about 100 kayakers took to the water as a coal ship passed by headed to sea.
The Protestival has well over 3,000 people and is still growing in numbers.

I suspect as EVs take over new transport in the next few years. The oil industry will make wilder and wilder claims.
