The Bridge was built - and there was meant to be a road that would link Tolsta to Skigersta at Ness. The mixing of many tons of concrete went into…

Do you happen to know how many licences and licensed individuals there are for those 1.9 million firearms? My (admittedly limited) experience is that one licensee can hold multiple guns. And museums have LOADS on one license.

I see it as a clear admission that there is no belief that the product can do what it says it should be doing. See also 'full self-driving cars'.

Yes. The article on Clitheroe also has a weird factually inaccurate section on local politics which talks about "resistance to supranational policies", "critique of mainstream parties' alignment with metropolitan agendas" and rejection of net-zero based on the views of one local small trader.

You can create an account, sign in then make corrections. But how is that better than Wikipedia? Also, some of the references are secondary rather than primary sources so I can see a point where Grokipedia starts to eat its own tail.

It's horrific, but the basic stuff is easy to spot. It's the small interpretive & context errors that I'm finding really disorientating.

If you fancy an up-to-the-minute and extreme version of this, look up the town you grew up in on Grokipedia.

For purely secular reasons I came to love the sabbath when I lived in the Hebrides - one day of absolute peace. Even using a hosepipe outdoors would incur the wrath of the neighbourhood. A leaf blower would have led to ex-communication.

I've heard that assured shorthold tenancies won't be grandfathered when the Renters' Rights Bill becomes an Act - which will be late 25 or early 26 - so bluffing it for a few months should get you over the line if you had to, then any landlords will be stuck with you!

When I was renting I always just asked and everything was ok. If a landlord gets problematic now then just tell them the Renters Rights Act will be enforced soon and that makes provision for renters with pets www.gov.uk/government/p.... 2/2

I’m an ex-landlord (yeah, I know) and generally it was the letting agent rather than the landlord that put the no pets rule in place. I was always fine with pets. Some landlords might ask for a larger deposit. 1/2

You have failed to make any consideration of any personal circumstances that may have led to these decisions, such as other beneficiaries of his parents estate. Would these measures have protected his (now late) brother Nick, who it is reported had vulnerabilities?

That’s really interesting. I’ve only ever heard the stories denied so assumed that recent occurrences were urban myth. Fascinating to know that it is just about in living memory. Thanks for sharing.
