Sunday so some fiddle practice. Plus the weather's awful so staying in by the fire and playing tunes. Today I'm practising Ashokan Farewell. Yes, I know my playing is baggy 😬 I'll get better, honest.

Final stage on the quince painting. This is 10 x 8, oils and cold wax medium. I mention the medium just because. It made a lot of the texture and it sounds cool to say it.

Given that the world appears to be ending I feel strangely proud that I managed to paint today. Session three, no plan, but there will definitely be at least one more session. A quince.

I resolved to post more of myself here than I did at that other place. This is my favourite Sunday morning thing to do. Most mornings actually. And this is a bit embarrassing for me to post so good for accountability 🙄 it's a Scottish tune I'm learning called Da Stocklit Light.
