It’s not that the current EFF is anti-antifa, but its beliefs are still at core *libertarian* in the deep sense of “the biggest threat to human flourishing is the state, and the best way to counterbalance that is to unfetter humans” (at EFF, read: “unfetter technologists”). Which was not an unreasonable perspective in the late 1990s! And is still not completely *wrong*. But it feels a bit besides the point when our most unfettered technologists are open monarchists and eugenicists.
