Canada! I can almost hear it.

I saw them for the first time about a decade ago. What a blast it would have been to see them back in the day.

I usually have a couple each summer. I plant their favourite flowers and have clean and full feeders. But I've only had one sighting all summer. It's rather concerning.

I had a blue jay named Acorn that would do this. He'd squawk on my porch railing to get me to come outside to throw peanuts. Sadly, he suffered a severe beak injury late last summer and didn't make it through the winter. I have other Jays that are table feeding now and hope they get more familiar.

My dog's name is Bee and I think having a Bug and a Bee would be too fun.

What an ass this dude is. So many people infantilise disabled people. Like we are children and have a curfew? Like we have no lives other than basic survival. People ought to be thankful that they are healthy and able instead of burdening disabled people further with this attitude.

My heart goes out to your neighbourhood. Especially that man's fiance and family.
Yes, the world is horrific and I'm also having a difficult time navigating how involved and informed to be. We have to be and yet, it's psychologically unhealthy.
