I've only been charged by a cat once, and it went straight for my face.
Luckily it was a kitten so easily fended off, but still made me jump!

My favourite painting story was a couple of friends painting a bedroom, they started with 5l of paint and 24 cans of beer.

By the time they got to the bottom of the paint and the beer they'd covered one and a half walls.

Friend's girlfriend was livid.

It's never worked . . . yet.

I only needed to check with one customer, but anything but an immediate "I'll write off my entire day and risk upsetting customers by not checking first" clearly wasn't acceptable.

*sigh*

I recall standing on first girlfriend's doorstep for a good 30 minutes waffling, while my brain went "so do I just go for it?", "I have no idea", "what's the worst that could happen?", "Oh god, somebody do something" etc.

I did, eventually, go for it, but it was touch and go.
