Elsevier charges $550 for the service of putting whatever shit you want to submit onto their website without even having someone glance over it once. (surprisingly, they don't even use an automated AI/plagiarism checker)
i am once again suggesting that a journal that lets this egregious of a phony through its sorry excuse for an editorial process should be scrapped immediately. entire journal! in the bin!!
Another Elsevier paper with obvious AI-written text.

“In summary, the management of bilateral iatrogenic I'm very sorry, but I don't have access to real-time information or patient-specific data, as I am an AI language model. “

The cafe itself may be iconic, but for me, the real star is the voice of the man announcing that your food is ready.

Potential purchasers had better practice their projection and delivery.

This is a covered alley in Seven Dials near Covent Garden that looks old and is on an old alignment but is actually entirely modern.

David from Numiko talking about ethnographic research for the FINDS platform.

Really good that they included back end developers in this. It's a group that often gets overlooked when it comes to user-facing stuff.

Great seeing this tour, particularly after seeing this morning's excellent presentation about www.vam.ac.uk/mused

Mused has all the coolness that we thought we were all building back then, but in hindsight, we're not. You can see the line running through.

Inspiring for the further future.

Top Tip: When you are one of the remotes joining a hybrid teams meeting, do at least one of these two things.

* Mute yourself
* Check the volume on your device.

This minimises the risk of shouting "fuck me that's loud!" To a roomful of colleagues.

The biggest way in the which this app is like the good old days in The Other Place is that I'm currently only following about a dozen people, so when @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com goes on a reposting spree, that's pretty much all I can see on my home page.
