Great episode. Always a fair and balanced discussion.
Really hoping to see a return to the Tottenham way soon.
I actually think the players are capable if the tactics allow them.

I'll go with your vibes on Poch as I was not really a Spurs fan then. Enjoyed watching them play though as they had a a great squad of quality players.

Sadly the TF project is now accelerating backwards.
If the senior players back him, Matt Wells could be a great option.
He understands the culture and would have learnt alot from Ange.
Not convinced that Poch is the long term answer. He had his chance to win something with a really great squad.

Agree with this comment.
The Board made a huge mistake in letting Ange go. Spurs had stability with a manager playing football that aligned with Spurs style - and the players had belief too.
The Board just needed to back Ange with more investment in the winning culture/mentality he was building.

That is a telling comparison.
Archie and Radu were always 100% committed - but really not in the same class as the back 3 centrebacks who played yesterday.
Are Arsenal really that much better now? Could be - but surely this current Spurs squad can offer more.

True it is more than just the manager.
As @profspur.bsky.social says often, there is no magic manager.

I'm not really referring to whatever Angeball is.
What we all want to see from Spurs is progressive attacking football - and we saw a fair bit of that over the past two years when Spurs had most of their 1st 11 available.
I do agree with you that more investment needed though.

I don't think I can agree with you here Hannah.
Spurs weren't lost under Ange. We had a plan and Spurs showed the sort of football fans wanted to see.
They found belief, developed a winning mentality and they won a trophy 🏆
It was only injuries and lack of depth that limited more progress.

Oh I do have one of those 🥑

Sounds delicious. You are right there. We can't match that here in Australia.
Will be bacon, eggs and a hash brown for my breakfast.

Agree 💯%

England still favourites in my mind.
Australian batting needs to improve against these very good English bowlers. A good 100 partnership needed for Australia to take control.
