I also had no expectations but was genuinely ready to listen to what was on offer, and he has offered a very dark vision of what he believes will deliver power. I should reasonably expect to hear a whole lot of ‘I told you so’s’ but it’s still depressing that we have no viable humane alternative.

Further to this, he has read the tea leaves and believes his path to power is simplistic, moronic, populist drivel, as opposed to enriching, uplifting policy. He is leaning into grievance politics and in a country as bountiful as we are it is disgusting. Shame on you Dutton, I hoped you were better.
